Company Overview:
We are a partner in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), providing critical IT and Information Management (IM) solutions to advance the Navy’s mission of developing and integrating superior 21st-century warfare systems. NSWCDD’s IT Division (Code 104) delivers enterprise IT services, including unclassified and classified network management, cybersecurity, IT asset lifecycle management, application development, endpoint support, and IT Service Management (ITSM), enabling technical departments to execute cutting-edge scientific and engineering work.

Position Overview:
The Senior Information Management Specialist will manage and coordinate IT and IM operations across NSWCDD. This role ensures full lifecycle support of IT systems, including acquisition, management, security, administration, upgrades, and day-to-day operations. The specialist will also support digital transformation initiatives, process automation, ITSM optimization, and alignment with Navy and DoD standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate department/branch operations, including strategic planning, workflow optimization, and attainment of operational goals.
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and IT staff to develop and implement organizational policies, practices, and procedures.
• Analyze operational reports, records, and directives to support planning, problem-solving, and resource allocation.
• Assign and oversee staff responsibilities; ensure adequate training and compliance with policies and best practices.
• Provide technical and operational guidance in ITSM, IM, digital transformation, cybersecurity, endpoint support, Helpdesk, and enterprise applications.
• Facilitate IT support across classified and unclassified networks, including NMCI, cNMCI, SDREN, JWICS, and other enterprise networks.
• Support process standardization, automation, and improvement to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain compliance with ITIL®, DoD Enterprise Service Management Framework (DESMF), DevSecOps, and other relevant frameworks and methodologies.
• Monitor costs, prepare budgets, and report on department operations, projects, and milestones.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in broad-based Automatic Data Processing (ADP) services or IT/IM operations; IAM III certification at
• Clearance: T3 level.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Management, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in operations management, staff coordination, policy implementation, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IT lifecycle management, ITSM best practices, cybersecurity principles, and enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting classified and unclassified DoD networks and adherence to relevant security protocols.
• Familiarity with ITIL®, DESMF, DevSecOps, agile methodologies, and other IT frameworks.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
