Position Overview:
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) seeks a highly qualified Senior Data Management Analyst to support IT operations, information management (IM), and digital transformation initiatives across classified and unclassified networks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data management, document control, and analysis, providing actionable recommendations to support government decision-making. This role requires expertise in Microsoft Windows environments and Office applications, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with Navy or Department of Defense operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, archive, log, audit, and preserve digital documents and data in accordance with organizational standards.
• Create, maintain, and optimize digital filing and retrieval systems to support IT and IM operations.
• Conduct thorough data analysis, including reviewing annual revenues, employment, cost performance, schedule, and expenditures.
• Define the nature and extent of problems, develop solutions, and present actionable recommendations to government leadership.
• Interview personnel and observe operations to gather relevant data and insights.
• Support IT service management (ITSM), endpoint management, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IT best practices, frameworks (ITIL, DESMF), agile methodologies, and DevSecOps practices.
• Prepare written reports and deliver oral briefings summarizing findings and recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in data management, document control, or related analysis roles.
• IAM III designation is required.
• T3 (Top Secret) clearance is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows environments, Excel, Word, and other Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in classified and unclassified network environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, technical, or scientific fields.
• Experience supporting U.S. Navy programs, Department of Defense operations, or complex engineering/scientific projects.
• Experience with IT service management, cybersecurity support, and digital transformation initiatives.
