Position: IT Service Management (ITSM) Analyst – eCRAFT Operations II (ANP2)
Location: Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Dahlgren, VA, and detachment sites as required
Clearance Requirement: IAT II (T3) – favorably adjudicated personnel security investigation
Overview:
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) is seeking a highly skilled IT Service Management (ITSM) Analyst to provide technical and operational support across classified and unclassified IT networks. This role is critical in advancing NSWCDD’s mission to deliver advanced naval warfare systems through modernized, efficient, and secure IT operations.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Service Owners to design, enhance, and transition IT services into operations.
• Develop and maintain IT service management processes, workflows, and documentation.
• Define, monitor, and report on service quality metrics and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Analyze operational, technical, and IT experience data to identify areas for continuous service improvement.
• Support IT service delivery aligned with ITIL, Scrum, and other best practice frameworks.
• Assist in improving the IT experience of stakeholders by measuring human-centric metrics.
• Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other ITSM metrics.
• Support IT operations, endpoint management, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and digital transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring ITSM processes.
• Experience with ITIL, Scrum, or equivalent IT service management frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in evaluating operational and technical data for process improvement.
• Experience collaborating with business and technical teams to align IT services with organizational objectives.
• Knowledge of ITSM software, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Must possess or be eligible for IAT II certification.
• (T3) SECRET clearance required.
• Favorably adjudicated personnel security investigation for access to classified systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience supporting IT operations in a DoD or government research environment.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, IT experience management (ITXM), and enterprise application support.
