QED Systems, LLC is currently recruiting a Technical Training Lead (Specialist), to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, in support of our C5ISR Center HQ Operations Support contract.
Duties:
Communicates, interfaces and coordinates with teachers and other educational personnel for the general C5ISR Center Outreach Program.
Executes assigned program activities as directed by the Government lead. Program activities include both in-school and on-post student activities.
Tracks all required metrics and report out on program outcomes.
Coordinate travel, as assigned, both within and outside the regular duty travel area and attend events requiring Temporary Duty Status (TDY) in support of the overarching goals of the program.
Coordinates with major stakeholders within the larger organization, the command structure as well as within the community to gather information, promote C5ISR Center Educational Outreach and Community Relations Office programs and coordinate program execution.
Executes according to guidelines, the purchase of any materials through the contract, as required for the execution of the C5ISR Center Math and Science Summer Camp or the larger C5ISR Center Educational Outreach and Community Relations Office portfolio.
Executes scheduled activities and planned program requirements on behalf of the C5ISR Center Educational Outreach and Community Relations Office during periods of ad-hoc or unscheduled government closures to ensure uninterrupted service to the community on behalf of C5ISR Center Outreach and to minimize disruption to external customers and stakeholders.
Coordinates with local external points of contact to secure locations off APG for hosting various C5ISR Center Educational Outreach and Community Relations Office and coordinate, within guidelines, for the invoicing and contracting of said locations.
Attends training events as necessary to maintain current knowledge in the areas of curriculum development, program design and K-12 education best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must have experience in teaching within a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
Required Clearance:
CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Ability to obtain Secret clearance
Qualifications:
Master’s degree (MA) with five (5) years of experience, required.
Bachelor’s degree (BA) with seven (7) years of experience may substitute for the master's degree. Associate degree with ten (10) years of experience may substitute for the MA & BA degrees.
Maryland Educator Certificate, Advanced Professional Certificate (APC), Maryland State Department of Education required.
Must have a federal background check and fingerprinting completed by the Child Care National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (CNACI).
Travel:
Local travel for this position may be significant. The candidate is expected to travel to local school districts on a regular basis.
Work Environment:
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces. This position will also require work in local schools to support the C5ISR Outreach program.

Physical demands of this position include ability to:
Be independently mobile.
Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
