What You'll Do:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and site management regarding security-related matters.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
