Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Advanced Software Engineer position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and developing next generation cryptographic solutions. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a software engineer for the Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and developing next generation cryptographic solutions.

- Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
- 5+ years experience developing Linux Kernel Drivers for embedded systems
- Experience with Petalinux/Xilinx SoC (Zynq Ultrascale+/Versal) a plus
- Experience with Linux Networking/Routing a plus
- Capable of proposing high quality and high performing solutions with minimal input
- Skilled in kernel driver debugging techniques required
- Experience with Docker and podman on Linux a plus
- Experience with Windriver Linux a plus
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
- Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain or hold a DoD Secret clearance (preferred at time of hire).
