Sr Mumps Developer

Blu Omega is seeking a Senior MUMPS developer who can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We're looking for a Senior developer with the advanced skills needed to diagnose and recommend solutions to resolve issues affecting VistA Scheduling products for our Veterans Affairs client. This role is not coding. We need a Senior MUMPS developer who will use their passion, experience, and techniques to identify and recommend solutions. You'll analyze the user needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're recommending considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience with MUMPS software development
• 7-8 years of experience working with VistA
• 5+ years of experience working with VistA Scheduling packages
• Experience developing and documenting solutions for VistA.
• Experience with using FileMan
• Knowledge of upstream and downstream dependencies on VistA Scheduling packages and modernized Scheduling applications.
• Knowledge of design or architectural patterns
• Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with an understanding of all dependencies.
• Ability to understand front-end users' requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Agile frameworks
• SAFe Certifications

Salary Range: $130K-$145K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
