- Support software defined network architecture and scaling to accommodate global network
- Support Python development and automation of LANs and WANs
- Support modeling and simulation of inter-agency network architectures to help capacity planning and future bandwidth requirements
- Support traffic engineering capabilities and resiliency of network that supports external sponsor entities connectivity to cloud resources
- Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, communities, and route policy language (RPL) on service provider on prem infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience facilitating discussions on technical issues and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
Qualifications
Required:
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- A Bachelor's (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Business, or a scientific, or technical discipline
- BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 10+
- Knowledge of theory and practice underlying LAN/WAN network operations
- Knowledge of communications and information security policies and practices
- Knowledge of multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
- Knowledge of Versa Software Defined Networks
- Knowledge of automation leveraging Python
Desired:
- Knowledge of the Sponsor's policies and procedures relating to design, upgrading, and operating and maintaining their networks
- Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
- Doctorate degree (or equivalent experience) in a field related to the position
- 20 years of experience
- 5 years of experience in the Intelligence Community
