Summary
The Forward Networks Engineer supports modeling, validation, and analysis of complex enterprise networks using Forward Networks’ digital twin technology. This role simulates routing behavior, verifies policy enforcement, detects misconfigurations, and evaluates planned network changes prior to deployment—especially critical in hybrid cloud/on-premise environments.
Responsibilities
-Operate and maintain Forward Networks (FN) within the enterprise environment
-Model network topologies using FN’s digital twin platform
-Simulate routing decisions, pathing, and multi-vendor interoperability
-Detect configuration drift, access control inconsistencies, and routing errors
-Validate changes before deployment to ensure end-to-end policy compliance
-Support hybrid cloud/on-prem network analysis and optimization
-Maintain documentation, diagrams, and baseline models
Qualifications
-Strong background in enterprise networking (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto)
-Understanding of routing, segmentation, ACLs, and hybrid architectures
-Experience with network modeling or analysis tools preferred
-Active TS/SCI with polygraph required
