Description:You will serve as the Project Lead for the Simulation and Systems Labs (SSL), System Integration Lab (SIL), Methods, Fort Worth, and the Man‑in‑the‑Loop (MITL) Project Team. In this role you will provide informal leadership to a core staff of eight and coordinate a cross‑functional team of up to eighty members. The team is responsible for strategy, planning, design, development, lifecycle management, sustainment, and oversight of hardware, infrastructure, interoperability, and availability across classified laboratories and Systems‑of‑Systems (SoS).
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Project Lead for a large, multidisciplinary team, you will proactively pursue and secure funding to expand, sustain, and enhance F‑35 capabilities, increase software development capacity, and mitigate Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS). You will define verification strategies and establish the associated System Integration Lab (SIL) capabilities, then develop, maintain, and execute the verification procedures. This role also includes delivering test results-status updates, formal reports, and problem reports-and managing all system defects from identification through resolution, directly affecting the labs under your oversight.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost‑risk assessment, and supportability/effectiveness analyses for complete systems. These activities will span every phase of the lifecycle-concept, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Translating customer requirements into coherent system solutions that meet technical, schedule, and budget constraints. This includes conducting functional and timeline analyses, detailed trade‑studies, requirements allocation, and interface‑definition work to produce clear hardware and software specifications.
This position does not require travel.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline
• Experience with project management
• Experience with Capital, New Business, and/or IR&D planning and funding
• Experience leading cross functional teams
• Experience with complex flight simulation and/or testing equipment
Desired Skills:
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and
manage interpersonal dynamics
• TS Clearance (with Investigation in last 5 years)
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Experience
• Experience in developing ConOps and OpsCon documents
• Experience developing BOEs, ROMs, and/or COAs to support proposals
• Experience with classified environments and simulation hardware and software
• Ability to develop metrics, briefing charts, and lead discussions with leadership teams
• Technical leadership experience of large and diverse teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
