Valiant is looking for an ASOTC Instructor to join our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Will research, develop and write doctrine.
  • Present instruction to support Special Forces missions.
  • Conduct coordination and brief both military and civilian officials.
  • Prepare, coordinate, execute and supervise field training exercises throughout CONUS in both urban and rural environment.
  • Be responsible for safeguarding all Government property and classified documents provided for use and at the close of each work period.
  • Secure Government equipment and classified materials entrusted.
  • Act appropriately to preserve and prevent damage or loss to equipment and materials when necessary.
  • Travel to CONUS locations as required by the company and/or the customer.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements

  • 4+ years of Special Operations experience.
  • 10+ years of Special Operations Forces experience is preferred but not required.
  • Familiar with the training and governing policies and procedures as they pertain to Emerald Nomad programs within the U. S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
  • Cognizant of the most recent regulations and doctrine governing this course.
  • Excellent communication skills, and shall speak clearly to instruct, evaluate and counsel trainees in the subtle and difficult concepts of the subject matter.
  • Knowledge of and skill in the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) approved Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
  • Graduate of the ASOTC Course and Special Forces Qualification Course or Seal Qualification Course.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must maintain a high degree of physical fitness allowing you to competently handle the physical demands of this position, which include working in extreme environmental conditions such as heat and cold, being able to move 6 miles a day in rough terrain and working non-standard hours.
