Position Summary
The ACAS Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract by providing expertise in vulnerability management and compliance assessment. This role is responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) suite, ensuring continuous monitoring and security posture across MDA networks. The ACAS Engineer collaborates with cybersecurity teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities, generate compliance reports, and integrate ACAS capabilities into enterprise security operations. This position requires strong technical knowledge of ACAS components, DoD cybersecurity standards, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable solutions in a mission-critical environment.

Position Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain ACAS Scanners and Security Center Server.
- Conduct scans and report/share data with system admins and lab managers.
- Conduct STIG and configuration management and assessments.
- Coordinate with ArcSight/Elastic/ESS administrators to conduct network vulnerability management.
- Author reports utilizing automated systems to audit license utilization on all associated CLAW enclaves.
- Provide license utilization reports to appropriate teams per the defined schedule.
- Work with stakeholders to identify discrepancies in software and/or hardware assurance reports.
- Evaluate software and/or hardware assurance status for approval using the established process.
- Complete research and reviews of software and/or hardware products to ensure they meet quality criteria prior to integration.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have a current DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II certification
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Must have 2, or more, years of direct ACAS experience
- Must have experience with scripting languages (eg. Powershell, Bash Ansible, Perl, PHP, HTML)
- Must have experience with consolidating data exports from auditing tools to provide knowledgeable insights
- Must have ACAS/Tenable application experience
