Position Summary
The Comply 2 Connect CISCO ISE Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The Comply 2 Connect CISCO ISE Engineer provides expert technical support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) solutions to ensure secure network access and compliance across enterprise environments. The engineer will collaborate with cybersecurity teams, network administrators, and program stakeholders to enforce access control policies, integrate authentication systems, and optimize security posture. The position requires advanced knowledge of Cisco ISE architecture, network security protocols, and compliance frameworks to support mission-critical defense systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and support in design, configuration, management and implementation of network environments, including Classified and Unclassified implementations of Cisco ISE Security features and integrations with third party systems. Integration includes but is not limited to: McAfee, Tenable, MicroFocus, Windows, RHEL, Cloud and remote sites.
- Provide documentation and detailed technical configuration for Comply 2 Connect using Cisco ISE.
- Set up new sites for accessibility to enterprise applications and security connectivity.
- Provide IA and CSSP Cert provisioning and support.
- Identify and resolve hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions related to posture and profiling environments.
- Manage and report on security compliance with ongoing recommendations for status improvement and optimal efficiency.
- Ensure a stable performance environment for enterprise network applications and systems.
- Proactively research and locate necessary tools and processes to identify troublesome trends as they develop.
- Provide technical assistance and perform problem resolution on all advanced Comply 2 Connect problems including ISE, LAN/WAN connectivity, wireless networks, mobile integration, endpoint access and applications response time issues.
- Participate in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the security infrastructure Provide pro-active guidance, mentorship, leadership example, and recommendations to junior team members.
- Assist in end point compliance, network security and manage/maintain ISE.
- Identify opportunities for our customers to get greater value from the Comply 2 Connect Cisco ISE platform.
- Consistently and cogently address our customers' needs through astute verbal and written communication skills.
- Identify and rapidly assign tier 2 & 3 support cases as necessary.
- Conduct daily health-checks on assigned accounts.
- Contribute to and track activity, after action, root cause and daily status reports.
- Be able to support after-hour maintenance window work as required to keep the Comply 2 Connect application up to date with all patching and updates.
- Be able to be on-call as required to support MDA mission events.
- Support other projects that improve the overall cybersecurity posture of the MDA as necessary.
- Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT level II certification
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Must have 8, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
- May be reduced with completion of bachelor's degree
- Must have 5 years of directly related systems engineering experience
- Must have 2 years of experience with at least one of the following: Cisco ISE, cybersecurity tools (McAfee/Trellix, Nessus, Tanium, SIEM, etc.), or Software Defined Networking.
- Have hands-on Comply 2 Connect experience
- Have hands-on experience with Cisco ISE
- Have experience with other cybersecurity tools such as HBSS/ESS, Nessus, ACAS, Tanium, and SIEM
- Have experience in Windows Systems Administration/Engineering
