As a Security Officer - Unarmed Aero Patrol in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
- Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related breaches, or hazards observed during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
- Assist in implementing emergency response protocols as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately after each shift or incident.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
