Cadmus seeks qualified candidates to support the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Health Security with program management, strategic planning, program support, preparedness planning, and crisis response. Associates have varied responsibilities including project and task management, leading teams, supporting programs and clients, and conducting a range of analytical, engagement, and other consulting tasks. This role will support the DHS OHS Health Information Systems and Decision Unit, which manages DHS medical and public health data to drive decision-making and enable effective healthcare delivery. Successful candidates will have expertise in health and medical-related data, data tools, and reporting.

Please note this position is for a proposal effort and offers will be contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate DHS health informatics and decision support efforts; produce clear plans and guidance.
  • Develop concise executive communications that explain program priorities, direction, and requirements.
  • Conduct health analytics and present insights through easy-to-understand dashboards and visuals.
  • Identify, assess, and develop decision support tools.
  • Advise on health data/information standards and support data governance and data quality practices.
  • Support stakeholder engagement efforts related to health and medical data initiatives.
  • Support emerging health informatics initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field like Public Health, Health Informatics, Epidemiology, Data Sciences, Health Sciences; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least five years of relevant experience supporting health informatics or public health/medical analytics.
  • Experience with analytics software/programming languages like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, R, or Python.
  • Knowledge of health information/data standards and governance practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to earn security clearance and/or DHS Suitability - requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Preference given to those with experience in government consulting.
  • Strong research, analysis, communication (written and oral), management, and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Limited travel may be required.

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 - $135,000. The actual salary will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
