Cadmus seeks qualified candidates to support the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Health Security with program management, strategic planning, program support, preparedness planning, and crisis response. Associates have varied responsibilities including project and task management, leading teams, supporting programs and clients, and conducting a range of analytical, engagement, and other consulting tasks. This role will support DHS OHS's Total Workforce Protection Directorate, which implements and oversees DHS workforce, health, safety, and medical programs. Successful candidates will have expertise in health and medical security and experience supporting the development and execution of workforce protection programs.

Please note this position is for a proposal effort and offers will be contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

  • Provide programmatic and technical support across a workforce protection portfolio spanning occupational medicine, occupational safety and health, organizational wellness, veterinary medicine, industrial hygiene, work-life and oversight of dependent care programs, and psychological health.
  • Support program planning, execution, and continuous improvement activities for workforce protection programs; develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and action trackers.
  • Draft, review, and update policies, procedures, and guidance that enable consistent workforce protection practices.
  • Compile, analyze, and synthesize program data; develop dashboards and reports.
  • Prepare executive-level briefings, white papers, talking points, and communication products for key stakeholders.
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities including meeting support and facilitation.
  • Develop and support training, awareness, and outreach materials related to workforce protection programs.
  • Support surge or crisis-related workforce protection activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field like Public Health, Occupational/Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Psychology/Behavioral Health, Veterinary/Public Health, Health Sciences; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least five years of relevant experience supporting workforce protection programs.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, reviewing, and implementing policies, procedures, guidance, and programs for large organizations.
  • Ability to earn security clearance and/or DHS Suitability - requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Proficiency in relevant software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Preference given to those with experience in government consulting.
  • Strong research, analysis, communication (written and oral), management, and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Limited travel may be required.

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000-$135,000. The actual salary will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
