Future Technologies Inc. (FTI) is in search of a Test Engineer to join our team in Moorestown, NJ.

The Test Engineer supports the test and evaluation of AEGIS Combat System (ACS) and AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) capabilities. This position is responsible for executing, monitoring, and documenting system tests, validating functionality, and coordinating with both U.S. Navy and developer teams.

• Providing technical support during testing and evaluation of AWS and ACS performance.
• Executing functional testing at element, system, and multi-site levels, including interoperability assessments.
• Observing, documenting, and analyzing system performance and providing comprehensive test metrics and assessments.
• Participating in design and milestone reviews (IPR, SDR, PDR, and CDR) and Agile technical reviews.
• Supporting Engineering Test and Evaluation (ET&E) activities and reviewing developer test documentation.
• Recording detailed test results, defects, and technical findings.
• Researching and understanding systems under development or test.
• Reviewing specifications to verify accuracy, completeness, and requirements traceability.
• Supporting verification and validation processes for ACS integration and test approaches.
• Developing and validating test methods, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing performance assessments.
• Isolating and documenting defects, confirming corrective actions, and preparing technical briefings.
• Participating in meetings with developers and Navy stakeholders to discuss test findings.
• Leading small technical teams where appropriate, depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM-related discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
    Experience in live software or hardware requirements development and testing.
    Proficiency with automated tools used for requirements analysis, data entry, team coordination, or test data management.
  • Relevant experience in reviewing or developing methods in mechanical or electrical engineering fields, supported by academic coursework.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and guide small technical teams.
  • Active Secret clearance


Preferred Education and Experience:
• Prior experience with U.S. Naval systems or systems used by other branches of the Armed Forces.
• Experience leading or coordinating technical teams in a testing or engineering environment.
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering technical presentations to stakeholders and review boards.
