Amentum is seeking a Master Project Scheduler to join our team of passionate individuals in Fort Meade, MD. In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission.
In support of DISA, the Intel and Cyber Division is assembling a team to support a program that provides critical network capabilities to the Department of Defense. We are committed to recruiting and retaining this team for prototype development, test, and demonstration, as well as making this team available longer term for integration, deployment and sustainment as needed.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Microsoft Project schedule that incorporates resource allocations and timelines
Daily updates to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), including changes and updates to tasks, percent complete, and resource allocation
Create comprehensive project plans, conduct thorough evaluations, and develop subprojects as needed
Collaborate with program management, engineering teams, and other relevant functional areas to create and refine project schedules
Address and respond to any changes, challenges, or issues that arise
Actively engage in daily telecommunications, schedule recurring and ad-hoc meetings, and contribute to schedule-related discussions and updates
Lead and facilitate weekly Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) meetings with project stakeholders, ensuring collaborative discussions on project timelines, resource allocation, and progress updates
Foster alignment among stakeholders, address concerns and drive action plans to maintain schedule adherence and project success
Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reports to government stakeholders highlighting key project milestones, trends, and potential risks
Provide an insightful analysis of progress and any emerging issues, ensuring leadership is well-informed and equipped to make data-driven decisions
Qualifications - External
Requirements:
Proven experience using Microsoft Project for project scheduling
Understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid
Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Critical Path Method (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM), and other scheduling techniques
Ability to define milestones, deliverables, and manage project dependencies
Experience integrating and managing project scheduling with sprint lifecycles
Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Visio
Familiarity with collaborative and tracking tools like Jira/Confluence

Minimum Education and Years of Experience:
Associates degree with 5 years of experience in project scheduling or project management, especially in a complex or multi-disciplinary environment. An additional 2 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of Associates degree
Preferred:
PMI-SP, PMI-ACP, or PMP
