Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Senior Principal Project Management professional to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in San Diego, CA.
This position is for the role of a Program Integrator. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the RQ-4 Program Integration Team. The candidate is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and team operations. This individual contributor will work side by side with the Program Manager on program reporting, monitoring performance, managing risks, addressing issues and other special projects, as needed.
The program integrator oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Additionally, they review the status of projects and budgets; manage schedules; prepare status reports; assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives; and develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Some travel may be required.

Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):
- Knowledge of project management and program integration and associated PM tools
- General understanding of integrated management framework and program management process and procedures
- Adhere to existing NG processes and demonstrates ability to understand processes and apply them
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Execute the strategic rhythm and assess throughout program lifecycle for necessary adjustments to meet program objectives
- Prepare status reports and presentations for NGC internal and Customer meetings
- Conduct thorough risk & opportunity management practices and ensure compliance to customer and program risk management requirements
- Manage proposals and lead core proposal team through the proposal process from request for proposal (RFP) through contract award
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of project management or related experience; or a Master's degree and 6 years of project management or related experience
- Skillful with Microsoft tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Experience with risk management
- Experience with proposal development
- Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with interfacing with all levels of employees and leadership
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the Integrated Management Framework (IMF)
- Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills to senior leadership
- 10+ years' experience in Project management, Program Integration/Execution
- Aerospace and/or Defense Industry experience
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
- Experience coordinating borrow/payback transactions
- Experience managing Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.)
- Experience with SharePoint and Teams
- Experience with Project
