We have on-going targeting requirements with a focus on emerging tech supporting a critical customer mission. The successful candidate will work on-site with targeting professionals, and technologists to support national security.
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with full scope polygraph
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will contribute to advanced intelligence operations by leveraging specialized, state-of-the-art tools and technologies in collaboration with an integrated government-contractor team. Key responsibilities include conducting technical research using proprietary customer systems, performing in-depth analysis, developing operational concepts, authoring detailed reports, engaging with stakeholders, and presenting findings to senior customer leadership. This role involves working on complex, fast-paced mission priorities, offering significant opportunities to tackle high-visibility intelligence challenges and apply a full spectrum of analytic tradecraft. Targeters must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information, both in writing and in person, while thriving in a collaborative team environment. Comfort with producing and disseminating written reports and formal requests for information is essential.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience supporting the IC
• 5+ years of experience in technical systems integration, project management, and/or targeting
• Experience with MS Office tools
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with senior government officials to define and manage processes associated with targeting activities
• Experience proposing process improvement ideas to promote efficiency and efficacy
• Experience coordinating activities with larger customer office and external stakeholder
• Experience supporting technical exchange meetings
• Ability to identify and assess the right entities and the right vulnerabilities and technology trends to enable new collection operations
• Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings
• Strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with ops sense, personal initiative, and some technical expertise
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
• Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases and specialized tools
• Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
• Formal training or certification as a Targeter
• Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
