What We're Doing
Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
The Work
-This position is responsible for leading the C2BMC Labs in Huntsville, AL in the overall tactical day-to-day operations, to include effective management of a diverse team across an agile development/support environment.
-As the on-site Huntsville point of contact, other responsibilities include: Coordinating the operation, maintenance, and management of Linux and Windows based systems supporting a software development environment tactical oversight of the day-to-day operations, system security, and availability of Linux/Windows environments: monitoring and managing team velocity, securing resources, removing and escalating issues and concerns: managing teen-performance and facilitating team improvements toward more effective Dev/Sec/Ops, automation and configuration management practices, and providing communications to local users and facilitating the escalation of user support issues.
-In addition, this position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following efforts: Providing effective oversight: of day-to-day system administration, IT engineering, maintenance activities, Information System Security, Physical Security, IS Account Management IS Role Base Access Control (RBAC) Management Distribution List Management. Managing and maintaining servers, to include performance tuning: enterprise storage, leading Labs in accomplishment of security audits, hardware asset management, integrating with Lockheed Martin Common Labs effort across programs/sites, and interfacing daily with Program Release Train Engineers, Product Owners, Information System Security Officer (1550), Cyber Engineers, Lab Managers, and System Administrators

-This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
-The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Basic Qualifications:
-MUST have an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.
-Must have a DoD 8570 IA.7 level II Certificate.
-Linux/Windows system administration experience.
-Experience with System Security Implementations.
-Experience with Ansible playback.
-Windows Server 2008R2 or newer experience.
-Experience supporting multiple labs and systems in a DoD classified environment.
-Experience as a Windows system administrator supporting a large amount of users.
-Experience with daily operators, security management, corporate compliance, and file/share/print services administration.
-Standard knowledge with Microsoft Server 2008/2012. Active Directory. GPOs. VMware etc.
-Experience supporting Windows based workstations, desktops and notebook computers. Technical documentation skills
Desired Skills:
-Experience with Security Technical Implementation Glides (STIG) compliance via Ansible, Multi-Factor Authentication implementation, OpenShift, OpenStack, Multi Factor Authentication, NetApp OnTap, VMware ESXI, QASNAS, HP Onboard Administrator configuration/management, Backup and Recovery, Linux certifications.
-Red Hat Certified Expert (RHCE) is a plus
-Effective communicator and problem solver.
-Capable of obtaining Top Secret Clearance.
-Certifications: CISSP, MCSA, CCNP, CCNA, RHCSA.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
