Description:The Personnel Security (PERSEC) specialist position is at Lemoore, CA in support of the F-35 mission Provides security/administrative support to personnel security requirements as necessary. Processes program access requests (PARs) and maintains clearance currency on students, permanent party, and contractor personnel. The PERSEC rep receives notification, documents, tracks and distributes as necessary foreign travel notifications. PERSEC will be officially trained and appointed as SAP Personnel Security Officials (SPOs). This appointment will be maintained with the Personnel Security Files. The PERSEC rep also maintains personnel and program information within the Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) for program access. Provides foreign travel briefings/debriefings to include updated travel information from US Department of State web sites and travel safety pamphlets from DSS and OSI. The PERSEC rep accomplishes/validates security administrative documents and SAP Formats associated with the security training program which are maintained in personnel security information folders. Provides information and assistance to Joints Strike Fighter Wing and tenant command leadership and organization officials by advising on program security training requirements, interprets program security-related guidance/requirements. Consults with Government Special Access Program Security Officers (GSSOs) on all matters involving PERSEC. Conducts wing/unit security self-inspections. Some travel may be required to perform assigned duties. A TS/SCI clearance may be required as mission dictates.

Basic Qualifications:
Proficient knowledge of Personnel Security duties in accordance with DoD Manual 5205.07.
Current security clearance investigation within 5 years from the investigation close date confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Vetting (CV) program.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program access and access to a wide range of specialized networks.
Works well independently and in group settings.
Excellent written, verbal and customer interface skills.
Ability to multi-task and remain organized;
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products
Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a Special Access Program.
Past appointment as a Special Access Program Personnel Security Official (SPO).
Knowledge of F-35 security requirements.
Experience working in a military environment as a first line leader or senior enlisted.
Ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance as necessary.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
