Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a is seeking a Summer 2026 Project Management & Planning Operations (ADP) Intern. In this role, you will involved in the management of complex Mission Systems avionics, sensor, weapon programs, the management of program cost, schedule, and technical performance. You will be supporting the pursuit of new business with the ability to grow and maintain positive customer relationships. Responsibilities will span the program development lifecycle, including generating cost estimates, creating schedules, supporting reviews and reporting to senior leadership. You will be required to develop statements of work, manage subcontractors and ensure program objectives are being met. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent internal interactions with project leads and other engineers in the group. The ability to travel on occasion for team interaction, integration, and test activities is required.
Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with Engineering and Technical Skills.
Desired Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Strong interest in hands-on technical management.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $31,616 - $77,788. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
