Job Title: Telecommunications Network Engineer
Location: New Cumberland, PA (on-site) 1 st shift
Opportunity Summary
CompTech is seeking a Telecommunications Network Engineer to provide technical support to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), a major component of the Department of Defense. This role supports DLA Information Operations within the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) Network & Telecommunications Services (NTS) division, specifically the NTS-Local Area Network (NTS-LAN) branch, with coverage across multiple DLA sites.
The engineer will support enterprise wired and wireless LAN/WAN environments by delivering advanced telecommunications engineering expertise, including design, implementation, optimization, and sustainment of network infrastructures. Responsibilities include supporting routing and switching architectures, network performance tuning, protocol analysis, and integration of new network technologies into existing enterprise environments.
A key function of this role is lifecycle configuration management, maintaining the technical integrity of the system baseline from development through deployment, operations, and maintenance. The engineer will evaluate network changes, apply updates, validate compliance with DoD standards, and ensure consistent, secure, and reliable network operations across geographically dispersed DLA sites.

Expertise & Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two (2) years' network operations experience. Higher level education or military service can be used in lieu of 2 years' network operations experience
- Experience in telecommunications network design and management
- Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems to support voice and data services
- Experience in performing and providing for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems
Certification Requirement
IA Level: IAT-II
- One (1) of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
IA Level: IAT - II/III, Unlisted
- And One (1) of the following: CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE
Security Clearance Requirement
- Top Secret

- $80k - $90k + benefits, PTO, 401K
