Job Description:
Responsible for management and continual improvement of FES projects (federal services and construction) Area of responsibility includes:
• Maintaining and improving budgets, schedules, and revenue across tasked project(s).
• Directing and mentoring PMO personnel (e.g. project coordinators, logisticians, project managers, superintendents, technicians)
• Managing client and teaming partner expectations and ensuring all deliverables (both contractual and verbally committed) are met.
• Effective coordination and communication with other Fusion Enterprise Solutions executives and ownership
• Creating and enforcing corporate policies, industry standards, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensuring Continuity of Operations (COO) during growth, change, and in the event of unplanned critical impact events.
Job Duties Performed:
• Project Management:
◦ Management of federal project lifecycle and operations; logistics, pre-mobilization tasks, mobilization, installation and project execution, quality control, close-out and reporting, invoicing and payment recovery.
◦ Manage project staffing, scheduling, project budgets, tools & equipment inventory, project personnel accreditations and affiliations
◦ Assist in resource management, client satisfaction, personnel assignment, oversight, and supervision; contractor budgets and reporting; planning and controls on key projects.
◦ Accountable for ensuring contract deliverables are submitted on time and within established quality criteria.
◦ Accountable for all project staff performance and behavior.
◦ Provides strategic, expert advice and consultation on program activities to ensure efficient implementation of internal processes and procedures.
◦ Attend and schedule weekly meetings with on-site teams to promote site communications and ensure deadlines/deliverables are met.
• Specialty Tools & Assets:
◦ Maintain a current and accurate project details in Procore
◦ Maintain the WIP & project billing forecast for individual projects
◦ Maintain current inventory of project tools and materials offsite (including FES office)
◦ Maintain timely PMO compliance to time reporting in QB Time
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited University
• 5 years of experience with or related to this position
• Able to obtain and hold a Top-Secret security clearance.
• Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with Project teams, multiple levels of employees, general and subcontractors, and supplier partners.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Must demonstrate ability to effectively organize and manage projects.
• Must demonstrate ability to effectively analyze and solve problems.
