Work You'll Do
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all deployment-related travel activities for contract personnel, ensuring strict adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), and Task Order (TO) requirements. The coordinator manages travel in support of mission requirements across the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS). This critical role ensures contract personnel are authorized, credentialed, and able to deploy efficiently and compliantly, while collaborating closely with administrative, security, and client-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities
o Comprehensive Travel Coordination
- Gather and coordinate all deployment-related travel requirements for the contract, supporting mission needs both CONUS and OCONUS.
- Ensure all travel plans and authorizations are fully compliant with FAR, JTR, and specific TO procedures.
o Credentialing and Access Management
- Monitor, track, and facilitate contract personnel building access, including badges, Personal Identification Verification (PIV) cards, Common Access Cards (CAC), and Security Clearances.
- Maintain up-to-date records to ensure personnel meet all access requirements for deployment.
o Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with Front Office Specialists, Security Specialists, and other partners to verify that all travel, authorization, and reporting activities meet regulatory and contract requirements.
- Regularly review and update processes to align with evolving compliance standards and TO directives.
o Expense and Documentation Management
- Coordinate travel arrangements (transport, lodging, etc.) and review associated expense reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with TO regulations.
- Provide clear guidance on allowable expenses, documentation, and reimbursement procedures under FAR/JTR.
o Relocation & Repatriation
- Ensure travel and support activities related to personnel relocation and repatriation are fully aligned with established TO processes and procedures.
o Planning & Communication
- Develop, maintain, and communicate the travel plan/schedule for the prime team and the client, ensuring visibility and clarity for all stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required:
o Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
o Active Secret security clearance required
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, logistics, travel management, or a related field.
o At least 2-3 years of experience in travel coordination, preferably for government or defense contracts.
o Working knowledge of FAR, JTR, and Task Order (TO) travel regulations and compliance standards.
o Experience managing credentialing processes such as PIV, CAC, and security clearance documentation.
o Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
o Proficient in MS Office Suite and travel management software.
Preferred:
o Experience coordinating travel or deployment activities in support of government or defense sector contracts.
o Familiarity with both CONUS and OCONUS deployment processes.
o Prior experience supporting large teams or multiple projects simultaneously.
o Exposure to enterprise travel systems or digital credentialing platforms.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
