Title: Software Engineer-Simulation

Location: Hazelwood, MO (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $70/HR To $80/HR
Secret Clearance is required post start (US Citizenship)

Introduction

Join a dynamic team dedicated to developing and sustaining next-generation training technologies for military pilot training. This role involves working with advanced visualization systems and applications used by high-fidelity training systems. You will be part of an Agile team, contributing to the full software lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for the company on W2
• Secret Clearance is required post start (US Citizenship)
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline with 10 years of experience in software engineering
• 5 years of experience in C, C#, C++, Rust or other programming languages and 5 years of experience in a software development/agile environment
• 5 years of experience in Windows and/or Linux distributions and 5 years of experience in Gitlab or IDE tools
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, including weapons, night vision systems, mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and flight controls
• Understanding of cloud architecture, containerization technologies, and networking concepts

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with specification format requirements and aircraft/product certification systems
• Experience in multiple engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems
• Ability to design, develop, integrate, apply, and test software models and simulations
• Knowledge of real-time software architecture and design methodologies
• Experience with 2D and/or 3D computer graphics and visual analytics tools

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Designs, architects, and develops simulation models and virtual environments
• Partners with stakeholders to identify simulation requirements
• Performs design, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis
• Validates and refines simulation software code and models
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams for software integration
• Modernizes and updates simulation software for new operating systems
