Job Description
Ennoble First is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Systems Administrator to support and maintain enterprise IT systems in a classified environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in system security administration, account management, troubleshooting, and system performance optimization. This role requires proficiency in Windows Server administration, VMware, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting to support operations and improve system efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform system security administration functions, including managing customer accounts via Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct system-related issues.
- Plan, test, install, and integrate new and upgraded versions of operating systems, third-party software components, and subsystems.
- Monitor and manage system resources to optimize performance and operating efficiency.
- Ensure smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, coordinating with network administrators when needed.
- Configure and maintain administrator and service accounts.
- Maintain system documentation, optimize system performance, and install system-wide software.
- Allocate mass storage space efficiently for optimal resource utilization.
- Evaluate and recommend vendor products, including hardware and software solutions.
- Coordinate installation and provide backup recovery solutions.
- Develop and enforce policies and standards for computing resource allocation.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
- 1-3 years of Networks and Computer Systems Administration experience related to Systems Engineer/IT
- TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) required prior to start.
- Must have one of the following customer-approved security certifications prior to start:
- Security+
- SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CASP (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner)
- Experience with VMware/virtual infrastructures.
- Proficiency in Windows Active Directory, Windows Server administration, monitoring, and configuration tools.
- Familiarity with storage solutions and cross-domain solutions.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Configuration Management supporting software builds and configuration audits.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Linux-based environments.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Knowledge of network administration and security best practices.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Pay Range:
$75,000-$130,000
