Description:
You will be the Subcontract Management Staff for the Missiles and Fire Control Advanced Programs team. Our team designs and delivers cutting‑edge missile and fire‑control solutions that protect the warfighter and secure the future of our company.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Staff member, you will be responsible for driving all subcontract‑related activities that keep our advanced programs on schedule, on budget, and fully compliant. You'll partner directly with engineering, program management, and senior leadership to ensure our suppliers deliver the highest‑quality components on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead the full lifecycle of subcontracts - pre award sourcing, negotiation, award, administration, and close out.
• Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies, tracking key performance indicators such as cost, schedule, and technical compliance.
• Conduct price and cost analysis, ensuring fair and reasonable pricing while protecting government/contractor interests.
• Manage subcontractor performance, issuing corrective actions, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and engineering to resolve disputes, change orders, and contract modifications.
• Maintain accurate contract files, reports, and auditing documentation in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, fostering collaborative relationships and proactive communication.
• Provide regular status briefings to program leadership and senior management.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Prior experience with procurement, supply chain and/or subcontracts on US Government programs
• Ability to interface effectively with Sr. Management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives
• Experience with managing and negotiating Cost Type, Fixed Price and T&M subcontract types
Desired Skills:
• Control Account Management (CAM) Experience
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
• Experience managing complex development subcontracts
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Supplier Management Teams
• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR / LMAP /CAP and MFC Work Instructions
• Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense industry
• Experience with procurement systems for purchase order creation and management

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
