Job Title: AWS Data SME III

Location: 1-2x a week in Crystal city

Security Clearance: Active Secret

We are seeking a strong Data SME to support the Air Force. Candidates must be passionate, energized, and excited to work on modern architectures and solve challenging problems for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Combination of MCSA, MCSD, MCSE, ACCP, ACD, ACML, ACDA, ACSA, ACDE or equivalent certifications achieved in the past 2 years or path to certification within 60 days of onboarding
  • Master's level technical or line of business discipline or the equivalent experience
  • Ability to conduct technical research used in areas of platform, technology, and data-based strategic planning services, decision support services, education and training development, and organizational performance support.
  • 5+ years of experience using AWS
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
  • Experience implementing, managing, and assisting with designing AWS IAM policies and roles to enforce least-privilege access
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control such as GitLab, and DevOps practices
  • Experience with AWS Data Stack, including S3, EC2, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, Athena, and/or Lake Formation
  • Experience with IaC and CAC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and/or CloudFormation
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ Certification
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Data Engineer, or similar cert


Nice to Have:

  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification
