This position is contingent upon contract award.

Position Summary

Command Cyber Solutions is seeking a Program Manager, Senior to lead and oversee the delivery of technical and administrative services in support of a federal IT program. This role is responsible for managing program performance, coordinating project activities, supporting customer engagement, and ensuring contract obligations are met. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, experience managing diverse technical teams, and proven ability to deliver results in a structured government environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of program activities to ensure quality, timeliness, and alignment with contract requirements.

  • Coordinate project schedules, resource planning, and task execution to support smooth daily operations.

  • Monitor program performance, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Prepare program reports, summaries, and updates for customer and senior leadership.

  • Lead and support customer-facing meetings, ensuring clear communication of progress, issues, and expectations.

  • Maintain organized program documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for government stakeholders.

  • Support continuous improvement by evaluating processes, identifying gaps, and recommending enhancements to program execution.

  • Foster collaboration across technical teams, subcontractors, and government personnel to support mission objectives.


Education, Certification & Experience Requirements

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline (Preferred).


Certification Required:

  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher.


Experience Required:

  • Ten (10) years of experience managing contracts or programs involving technical and administrative activities.

  • Five (5) years of experience supporting DoD or Navy IT environments or technology-focused programs.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of program management principles and contract oversight demonstrated through consistent delivery of program milestones and reporting requirements.

  • Knowledge of project planning and coordination practices shown through effective scheduling, documentation, and task organization.


Skills:

  • Skill in leading diverse technical teams evaluated through team performance, communication effectiveness, and stakeholder feedback.

  • Skill in developing clear reports and program summaries demonstrated by accuracy, clarity, and completeness of delivered materials.


Abilities:

  • Ability to manage program activities, resources, and timeliness, measurable by meeting deadlines, quality standards, and customer expectations.

  • Ability to maintain organized program documentation and follow structured management processes, measurable through periodic reviews and adherence to program workflows.


Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:

  • This position is performed in a professional environment, remote/home office setting, or on-site government facility, as required by the contract.

  • Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, during normally scheduled business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work required to meet critical deadlines.

  • Work involves extensive computer and secure network use, including periods of prolonged sitting, data entry, and screen time.

  • The role requires working independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating virtually or in person with CCS teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.

  • Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, training, or project-related activities.
