Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Analyze structured and unstructured data to support reporting and operational needs.
Develop reports, dashboards, and data models that communicate clear and actionable insights.
Document data requirements, transformation rules, and analytical workflows.
Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across sources.
Gather and organize information for recurring and ad-hoc reporting requests.
Collaborate with technical, financial, and program stakeholders to refine data needs and ensure accurate outputs.
Maintain organized data documentation, ensuring that analytical processes are repeatable and well-documented.
Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities based on data analysis.
Education, Certification & Experience Requirements
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in business/technical field (preferred).
Certification Required:
Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher.
Experience Required:
Six (6) years of experience performing data analysis, modeling, reporting, or business intelligence activities in Federal, DoD, or enterprise environments.
Experience using data analysis tools, structured query languages, or reporting platforms.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge:
Knowledge of data modeling, reporting practices, and analytical methods demonstrated through accurate analytical outputs and structured reporting products.
Knowledge of data validation and quality assurance processes shown through consistency in detecting, documenting, and resolving data discrepancies.
Skills:
Skill in developing clear reports and dashboards evaluated through stakeholder feedback, clarity or presentation, and usefulness of delivered insights.
Skill in documenting analytical procedures demonstrated by maintaining organized, repeatable workflows and clear data transformation notes.
Abilities:
Ability to manage multiple analytical tasks and deadlines, measurable through timely and complete delivery of recurring and ad-hoc reports.
Ability to follow structured analytical processes, measurable through consistency and accuracy during documentation reviews and quality assessments.
Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:
This position is performed in a professional environment, remote/home office setting, or on-site government facility, as required by the contract.
Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, during normally scheduled business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work required to meet critical deadlines.
Work involves extensive computer and secure network use, including periods of prolonged sitting, data entry, and screen time.
The role requires working independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating virtually or in person with CCS teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, training, or project-related activities.
