Description:As the Operations Engineering Manager, you will lead efforts to drive rate readiness across multiple precision fire programs, allowing our customers to remain "Ahead of Ready." Your focus will be on optimizing processes, reducing risk and ensuring world-class operational standards through an unwavering drive for excellence and robust Industrial Engineering systems and processes.
What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and champion innovation for a team of Operations Engineers, ensuring alignment with 1LMx, enterprise goals and rate readiness objectives.
• Oversee traditional Industrial Engineering functions including, but not limited to workflow design, capacity and manpower planning, make/buy analysis, simulation modeling, production standards, cost savings, layout optimization, material handling, ergonomics, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and institutionalize standard work processes to ensure consistent execution and measurable results.
• Collaborate with leaders across the business area to maintain strong partnerships, share best practices, and institutionalize lessons learned.
• Hire, develop, and retain top Industrial Engineering talent, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and inclusion.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an Interim Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM-related field
• Experience leading a team within a manufacturing environment
• Capable of performing Industrial Engineering tasks at a high level of performance
• Experience creating presentation material and effectively briefing senior level management
Desired Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, program management or operations
• Experience working Precision Fires portfolio of products and IAMD portfolio of products.
• Recognized for performance leading a high performing team
• Proven leadership and team development experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
• Resilient, adaptable, and proactive in fast-paced environments
• Well versed in Industrial, Manufacturing & Systems Engineering principles
• Project management and/or experience with capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
