Epsilon Systems has an opening for a full time Program Analyst I (SRS) located in Portsmouth, VA

Summary: Conducts financial and organizational reviews and assists management in operating more efficiently and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produces weekly, bi-weekly, monthly financial reports for Mission Readiness Group.
  • Analyzed programs/projects to assist in the development of more efficient systems and reducing costs.
  • Analyzes financial reports to determine when 75% notifications need to be sent to the customer.
  • Reviews negative fee report for accuracy and determines when in-house At-Risks need to be written.
  • Analyzes and ensures that all CDRL reporting requirements are performed within contract reporting requirements.
  • Interfaces with the Program/Project Managers on the health of their programs.
  • Ensures that there are proper tools in place to project program financial health.
  • Ensures accuracy of CFR/CORN pricing. Tracks CFR/CORN status and update CFT Log.
  • Gathers and organizes information on program/project problems or procedures.
  • Analyzes program data gathered and suggests solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
  • Develops and implements financial records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and assures compliance with program.
  • Reviews purchase requests for temporary labor for accuracy, adds correct accounting codes, and forwards to purchasing. Makes necessary changes as needed.
  • Tracks temporary labor costs and reviews invoicing for accuracy. Works with temporary labor vendors to resolve billing issues and forwards approved invoices to accounts payable.
  • Reviews and corrects labor and material billing codes.
  • Provides Programs Managers weekly status reports on all active jobs.
  • Interfaces with Program Managers on developing project specific reports.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and recommends changes regarding reports, processes, programs, objectives, and goals, including short and long-range goals and strategies.
  • Participates in meetings, conferences and forums which facilitate customer outreach, help program planning and increase overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/equivalent.
  • 3 years' work experience with government contracts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Secret level security clearance.
  • Certificate of Information Assurance Security Training.
  • Some college course work in business completed.

  • Frequent standing, sitting, walking, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms.
  • Prolonged sitting and use of computer (typing/keyboarding)
  • Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Vision requirements include: close, distant, color perception, peripheral, depth and ability to focus.
  • Noise conditions range from very quiet to some noise.
