Job Title: Structure & Payload Design Engineer

Location: Ridley Park PA

Salary Range: $65 to $70/hr

Introduction

Join our dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in developing and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements to establish system designs. Your expertise will contribute to the modification and integration of designs using advanced 3-D Computer Aided Design tools, ensuring product definition throughout the lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Good CAD Experience (Catia or NX)
• Aerospace Design Experience (Structures or Mechanical Systems)
• Understanding of GD&T
• Strong PDM (Product Data Management) Background
• Must meet all requirements for the required Secret Clearance

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Good MS Office Suite Skills (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Basic Coding
• Good understanding of analysis and load paths
• Ability to lead an engineering change from requirement to release

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements
• Maintain and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs
• Perform and integrate analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components
• Manage supplier development, test, and production activities
• Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs
