A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior Structural Analyst.
Position Type: Full Time Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location: Greenville, TX, 75402
As a Senior Structural Analyst, you will:
Essential Functions:
• Durability and Damage Tolerance (DADT) analysis of primary structure for civilian and military transport airplanes including fuselage skin, frames, stringers, bulkheads, and fittings using fatigue analysis, linear elastic fracture mechanics, and finite element models to predict crack growth.
• Develop operational load and stress spectra. Apply damage tolerance principles to major airplane modification and repair designs using conservative approximate methods. Establish inspection instructions to support continued airworthiness.
• DADT loads development and analysis of primary aircraft structure.
• DADT consultation for airplane modification and repair.
• Creation and review of required structural maintenance instructions.
• Preparation of DADT Analysis Reports.
• Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Operation Loads Environment.
• Knowledge of Commercial and Mil. Aircraft Certification DADT Requirements.
• Classical Stress Analysis.
• Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desired Skills:
• Finite Element Analysis using Nastran and FEMAP or ANSYS.
• Crack Growth Analysis using NASGRO and AFGROW.
• Operational Loads Spectrum Development.
Ideal candidate will have
• Minimum of B.S. in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field of study Experience.
• Minimum of 15 years of aircraft structural analysis.
• Minimum of 10 years in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (can be concurrent).
• Experience in modification of transport category aircraft and business jets.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $122-$125 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
