Key Responsibilities:
Review technical documentation: Conduct thorough reviews of CAD models to identify and correct errors, omissions, and inconsistencies.
Ensure standards compliance: Verify that designs meet industry standards (e.g., ISO, NAAMS, ASME Y14.5), company specifications, and manufacturing best practices.
Validate dimensional accuracy: Confirm proper application of GD&T, angles, radii, and other critical dimensions.
Review Bill of Materials (BOM): Ensure the BOM is accurate and complete, with all materials and components properly specified.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years with a Master’s degree, or relevant experience with a PhD.
CAD expertise: Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, or Creo.
Blueprint and model interpretation: Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex engineering drawings and 3D models.
GD&T proficiency: Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and related standards (e.g., ASME Y14.5).
Quality assurance experience: Knowledge of quality control processes, tools, and methods to identify and document design issues.
Standards knowledge: Familiarity with industry and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO) related to tool design and manufacturing.

Preferred Skills:
Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
