The Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist (SCPS)/Senior Supply Chain Planning Specialist will provide support from a Global Supply Chain perspective for the Airborne Multi Mission Platform (AMMP) OU under the Airborne Surveillance Business Unit. This position supports the Navy Programs (P8 and E2D) underneath AMMP. This position can be an A03 Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist or A04 Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist. This position will be worked out of our Linthicum, MD facility and requires on site work.
This can be hired at a Principal or a Sr Principal level.

Primary Level Salary Range: $87,000.00 - $130,600.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $108,400.00 - $162,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Support AMMP Programs and proposals from a GSC perspective
- Collaborate with various organizations such as Contracts, Program Office, Business Management, Pricing and Estimating and other AMMP GSC personnel
- Develop/understand the proposal/execution strategy and structures
- Develop Key Suppliers/sources for entry into key programs and Industry Technology areas
- Review and understand supplier proposals
- Review and work Costed Bill of Materials and BOEs
- Completion and management of ISP from proposal phase through execution
- Review Shop Orders and support execution through receipt of material
- Analyzes and aggregates supply / demand requirements.
- Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
- Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM)
- Define and develop material strategy for each program
- Manage/report and forecast material cost/performance of assigned program/s (Material Receipt Tool, CMEs, IPRS, Financial Forecasting)
- Understand/ensure the overarching goals of the division are being supported as well as the GSC organization
- Interface with supply base
- Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and support implementation
- Support Statement of Work (SOW) creation for subcontract activities
- Ability to work with less experienced Program Teams and provide a general level of guidance of processes and procedures, etc.
Basic Qualifications(Principal):
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field OR Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field
- Experience utilizing MS Office Suite
- Experience using SAP
- US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications (Principal):
- Experience in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, or Financial Planning
- Experience leading Supply Chain functions for proposals including basis of estimates, subcontract management, and the QUEST system.
- Experience in Federal and Defense contracting
- Experience with end-of-life/DMS management
- Experience with production programs, material control and financial procedures and systems (such as earned value, estimates at complete, and financial forecasting)
- Experience with FAR and DFARS.
- Experience leading multiple teams at once
- Experience providing guidance, mentorship, and on the job training to lower level professionals
- Experience coaching to implement change with demonstrated results
