Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Structural Analysis for the Design Center in Houston, TX, which is a multi-function Engineering Organization with a mission statement to provide engineering solutions via a highly skilled flexible workforce and cutting-edge technologies for the advancement of the Boeing Enterprise. The Design Center provides engineering support to Enterprise-wide projects/programs and is a flexible team that strategically adapts to emerging opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

- Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design
- Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
- Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
- Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
- Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
- Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
- Works under general direction

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Typically 2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years related work experience in structural/stress analysis. Experience with Engineering classification such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience with Fatigue or Durability Analysis.
- Stress Liaison Engineer experience
