THE WORK
"In this role you will: • Direct all phases of program management from inception through completion.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to coordinate the preparation of proposals.
• Act as a primary liaison with customer for all program activities including; cost, schedule, technical performance and program review sessions.
• Identify program problems and establish results, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications as needed."

Electronic, Cyber, and Information Warfare is part of Lockheed Martin's Rotary & Mission Systems business area. As the company's center of excellence for end-to-end radio frequency mission solutions, this market segment focuses on developing technologies that help the warfighter stay ahead of threats in the electromagnetic spectrum.

The rapidly expanding Converged Cyber/Electronic Warfare sub-market segment is looking to add a dynamic aspiring Program Manager to the Warfighter Solutions Portfolio. The candidate will have an opportunity to learn about the Program Management discipline and have access to all phases of the program development lifecycle.
The Deputy Program Manager will work closely with the Warfighter Solutions Program Managers and be a key contributor in the execution and success of the Warfighter Solutions portfolio. The individual will execute multiple simultaneous projects to ensure goals of the Portfolio are achieved.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Coordination of various program deliverables as the Deputy Program Manager
• Execution of new business activities including proposals
• Working with a cross functional team across multiple LM sites
• Reporting program status to senior internal LM leadership, as well as external customers
• Evaluating and approving specification and document releases
• Coordinating activities associated with production, technical impacts, schedule, and engineering design/documentation
• Preparing white paper responses for internal and external engagements

• Strong Project Management experience
• Prior cross functional team experience
• Demonstrated ability to work across functional organizations and business areas to achieve goals
• Business capture experience
• Understanding and experience with Earned Value Management
• Leadership skills and experience leading employees to perform productively and develop relationships in a multi-functional team environment
• Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate / manage multiple efforts simultaneously
• Strong written and organizational skills
• Experience with managing CDRLs and leading Product or Scrum Teams
• Familiarity with the competitive proposal process
• Strong interpersonal communication and formal presentation skills
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience leading a team
• Active TS/SCI Clearance

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
