Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer (Level 5)
Location: MUST Be LOCATED IN DAYTON/NEAR DAYTON
Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI
Certifications: Security+ (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer (Level 5) to support secure operations and platform pipeline maintenance in a high-availability, classified environment. This role is essential for maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensuring security is embedded across all development and deployment activities.

Required Skills

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and related DevSecOps tools.
  • Manage and orchestrate containerized environments using Kubernetes.
  • Utilize Terraform to define and deploy Infrastructure as Code across mission-critical platforms.
  • Integrate security checks and automated compliance tools into DevOps workflows.
  • Support incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation across platform infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with developers and system engineers to automate build, test, and release processes.
  • Monitor pipeline health, performance, and implement best practices for availability and scalability.
  • Document operational procedures and maintain compliance with DoD security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform.
  • Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines in secure, mission-focused environments.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles and tools for automated security integration.
  • Ability to support platform and operations across shift-based schedules.
  • Familiarity with secure configuration baselines and STIG implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving and automation skills in a classified setting.

Certifications:
  • Must hold Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification (required for DoD 8570 compliance).

Work Conditions:
  • 100% Onsite at NGA facilities.
  • Shift-based schedule (including nights/weekends/holidays as needed).
  • Must maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.
