This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
Employee may be required to travel by commercial or military aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments.
May be required to participate in non-traditional work schedules involving participation in round the clock, shift work, or otherwise work beyond, or outside of traditional hours, or work or tours of duty.
Incumbent is required to file an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and will be required to file annually.

As a OPERATIONS SUPPORT MANAGER at the GS-0301-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Supervises and provides operational, executive level day-to-day execution command and control (C2) of the USTRANSCOM operations
- Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Global Operations Center and Defense Transportation System
- Oversees the day-to-day planning and execution of the strategic transportation enterprise.
- Serves as the Command's expert for USTRANSCOM daily deployment related operations, deployment orders development, production, dissemination, and tracking.
- Directly influences allocation of Mobility Forces to competing Combatant Command transportation requirements for both rotational and emergent requests for forces.

- Establishes revises, or reviews policies, procedures, and mission objectives to eliminate transportation problems or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, implement quality improvements, or in response to concerns with regulatory compliance and/or customer requirements.
- Directs, manages, monitors and reports execution status of transportation assets and personnel and reports their status to leadership.
- Directs allocation based on analyses that impact senior leadership decisions on prioritized use of mobility assets and corresponding decisions concerning health-of-the-force issues.
