Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with a small team of system engineers, electrical and mechanical engineers, and software developers to create a virtual prototype of the Paladin self-propelled howitzer platform
- Use tools such as Matlab, Simulink, VBS4, Cameo, and CAD systems to create a digital representation of the Paladin
- Perform tests and compare data against requirements and instrumentation in order to validate model performance
- Use emerging technologies to assist in the development of the digital twin
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science (candidate may have a degree in-progress, but must show proof of degree prior to start date)
- Candidate must have prior experience working under direct supervision in an engineering role (i.e. internship)
- Experience with Matlab and Simulink
- Must be US citizen
- Must be eligible for obtaining Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of related experience
