Job Description:

Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a talented Material Expediter. The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Property Management Department.

Basic Requirements:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proactive, organized, on-time, produce quality products in a timely manner, organized, dependable, available for work.
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal, self-starter

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience using Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP).
  • Forklift Certified.

Responsibilities:

Manage the NSWC PHD Ship Store operations to include:
  • Order, stow, inventory and track consumables for the Ship Store using the Purchase Request Tool (PRT)
  • Receive and process orders via Service Now and deliver to Departments
  • Provide training to NSWC PHD personnel and work with Code 104 to grant access to Service Now
  • Check the Frustrated Freight Tool daily to ensure Ship Store procurements did not get added
  • Provide monthly metrics to Code 107 leadership and financial team

Track and update the Open MILSTRIP Report regarding NSWC PHD purchased material to include:
  • Create and update spreadsheet in MS Teams
  • Communicate with GSA, DLA, GDSC, Etc., regarding status of material
  • Communicate with Departments regarding material status
  • Work to resolve delays on a daily basis
  • Obtain tracking information by using IGC, GFM and OneTouch websites

Key Supporting Documentation (KSD) verification
  • Ensure KSDs within NERP from codes 1074, 107W, and E35 transactions are complete and meet audit requirements
  • Obtain access to PDREP website to submit, monitor, and follow up on Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs).
  • Assist with annual OM&S physical inventories across NSWC PHD Command

Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Work Location:

100% on-site support at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Port Hueneme, CA

Please Note: Work location requirements vary by program. While many roles support remote work, some projects may require partial or full on-site presence based on contract and client needs. Specific work location expectations will be communicated during the hiring process.

Salary Range

$24 - $26 USD
