Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) program within the Mobility Platform Integration team. This position is based at the EastGate facility in Bedford, Indiana, and requires up to 25% travel to various CONUS locations. The Senior Logistics Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services, overseeing logistics functions, and continuously improving logistic processes to support the overall JLTV program effectively.

The Senior Logistics Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services, overseeing logistics functions, and continuously improving logistic processes to support the overall JLTV program effectively.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Performs system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
- Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
- Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
- Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.
- Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans. Inherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervision
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience.
Required Skills:
- System Fault Analysis: Proficiency in performing system fault analysis and life cycle maintenance.
- Integrated Product Support (IPS): Experience in providing integrated product support for major systems.
- Logistics Management: Expertise in controlling the flow of goods, services, and information to meet customer requirements.
- Material Planning: Ability to plan, schedule, and manage material movement from receiving to production, with strong coordination skills.
- Process Improvement: Capability to ensure execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.
- Logistics Functions Oversight: Knowledge of maintenance, supply, transportation, logistics planning, program formulation, policy planning, and integrated logistics processes.
- Coordination and Supervision: Skills in coordinating with various departments (purchasing, warehouse, production) and supervising logistics-related activities.
- Technical and Safety Standards Compliance: Ensuring adherence to technical and safety standards in all logistics activities.
Desired Skills:
- Current or prior experience supporting JLTVT platform or similar military vehicle programs.
- Experience installing engineering change proposals (ECPs) or technical modification kits.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, configuration control, or inspection procedures.
