Senior Integration Engineer

Job Description

Strategic ACI is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to join our high-impact Enterprise Engineering & Architecture (TAE) Lead Integrator Team. In this role, you'll bring deep systems engineering and integration expertise to help modernize the GEOINT architecture and enhance mission capabilities across the enterprise. You'll apply your knowledge of the GEOINT Enterprise Architecture and the full TCPED cycle (Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination) to support integration efforts across NGA Program Executive Offices (PEOs). This includes aligning activities, ensuring enterprise-wide coordination, and maintaining accurate documentation of architecture, requirements, and interfaces.

In this position, you'll act as a strategic integrator and technical advisor, working directly with senior government leaders and stakeholders. You'll help shape the future of GEOINT by ensuring enterprise services and systems are delivered in a coordinated, efficient, and mission-aligned manner.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Government stakeholders to define and implement integration processes across NGA PEOs and supporting organizations.
• Lead or contribute to cross-organizational Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) focused on: Analytic modernization, Collection Management, Data Services, Foundation GEOINT and IT transformation.
• Drive development of engineering and architecture artifacts, including: Integrated project plans, Requirements and epics, Target state architectures, CONOPS, Roadmaps/schedules and Risk registers.
• Conduct a wide range of engineering analyses to inform investment and modernization decisions, including: Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (COAs), Trade Studies and Engineering Assessments.
• Perform baseline analyses and support requirements allocation to systems architecture components.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between mission needs, requirements, architecture, and program execution.
• Capture and translate mission and customer requirements into technical solutions and capability recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve integration processes, driving greater adoption of: Agile practices, Digital engineering and Cross-organization collaboration.
• Support and participate in NGA Governance, Configuration Management, and Risk Management processes.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field - OR - 12 years of experience as an Integration Engineer in lieu of a degree.
• 12 + years of experience in government or industry in database management and Big Data analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, including:
  1. Architecture
  2. Requirements
  3. CONOPS
  4. Integration
  5. Test
  6. Transition
• Ability to foster relationships across agencies and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to deliver modern, integrated GEOINT solutions at scale.

Desired:

• Senior-level experience and in-depth knowledge of geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) systems and services, including the TCPED cycle.
• Technical expertise supporting modernization initiatives within the GEOINT enterprise, such as:
  1. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  2. Tactical Edge Computing
  3. Multi-Cloud Environments
• Proven experience leading complex system-of-systems integration projects, with:
  1. Cross-organizational teams
  2. Senior Government leadership engagement
• Demonstrated ability to:
  1. Lead cross-organization engineering assessments, studies, and Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs)
  2. Develop Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs)
  3. Facilitate Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
  4. Engineer and present Courses of Action (COAs)
  5. Provide briefings and updates to senior government stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Digital Engineering tools and processes.
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification, with demonstrated experience applying SAFe practices in prior projects.
