Job Title: Aircraft Assembly Technician
Location: 1460 Garrott Ave. Moncks Corner, SC 29461
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Duration: 6 months
Brief Description:
• Responsible for performing a variety of assembly, testing, and material handling duties to support manufacturing operations and meet customer delivery schedules. Ensures materials, parts, and assemblies are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently within established production standards.
• Assemble and test mechanical and electro-mechanical components using hand and power tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, and specifications to produce and inspect assemblies per customer and industry standards.
• Transport, stage, and organize materials throughout the production area using forklifts or pallet jacks to maintain workflow.
• Maintain accurate inventory and production records through data entry and documentation of material movement and test results.
• Identify and report nonconformities or discrepancies in materials, assemblies, or test outcomes.
• Follow safety, quality, and FOD prevention procedures while keeping work areas organized and compliant.
• Actively support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
