We are experiencing growth and we are looking for a Field Engineer based in Orlando, FL with international travel and support.
You will be the Field Engineer for the CFSR (Combat Field Support & Readiness) team. Our team delivers world class onsite technical, maintenance, and supply support for Apache D/E Model M TADS/PNVS and FCR systems, ensuring mission critical performance for U.S. and allied customers at domestic sites and overseas locations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Field Engineer you will be the go to technical expert who provides over the shoulder assistance, guidance, and oversight during preventative maintenance, fault isolation, operational checks, and supply activities for M TADS/PNVS and FCR. You'll train personnel in the classroom and on the job, conduct product briefings with customers and senior Lockheed Martin leadership, and act as the local on site representative for our foreign military sales (FMS) customers worldwide.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Delivering hands on technical support and troubleshooting for Apache M TADS/PNVS and FCR systems at U.S. and overseas sites.
• Performing preventative maintenance, system checks, and fault isolation according to contract SOW/PWS requirements.
• Interpreting IETM, wiring schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, charts, and workbooks to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Providing over the shoulder assistance and mentorship to customer technicians during maintenance and supply activities.
• Conducting classroom and on the job training sessions, ensuring knowledge transfer and competency certification.
• Preparing and delivering product briefings to customer personnel and senior Lockheed Martin management.
• Acting as the primary Lockheed Martin on site liaison, fostering strong customer relationships and representing the company's standards of excellence.
• When not deployed internationally, residing in Orlando to support the CFSR team with in plant technical, logistical, and training tasks.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Ability to climb military aircraft and perform maintenance at heights
• A background in military avionics and night vision systems is desired, with actual flight line experience preferred Candidate must have the ability to use computer aided test equipment, as well as standard electronic test devices such as DVM and oscilloscope.
• Analysis of wire-code (WC) procedures to resolve field issues
• Candidate must be able to complete common supply inventory and processing actions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
• Good computer skills, Microsoft office products
• Support & present at customer venues on reliability/ITOC topics
• Working with international customers to resolve tech queries
• Generate, review, and deliver technical training of TADS/PNVS & FCR Sensors
Desired Skills:
• Technical degree or equivalent experience
• Prior military experience with actual flight line experience preferred
• Experience with the military supply system
