Description:
You will be the Contracts Management for the Precision Fires Program. Our team is responsible for providing expert contract negotiation, administration, and support to the PrSM and ATACMS program areas, ensuring compliance and value for the customer.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Contracts Management professional you will be responsible for guiding contract life‑cycle activities from proposal creation through negotiation, execution, and post‑award administration.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and reviewing proposals, statements of work, and contract language.

  • Negotiating terms and conditions with customers and vendors to protect LM interests.

  • Entering and maintaining accurate contract data in Lockheed Martin's electronic contract management system.

  • Evaluating customer requests for proposals or contract revisions and providing actionable recommendations.

  • Reconciling significant contract changes, including cost, specifications, and schedule adjustments.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires selected must possess ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external Customers

Demonstrate a willingness to learn, ability to adapt, and desire to assist the company with achieving its goals
Desired Skills:
Possess understanding of contractual and financial concepts and principles

Prior experience negotiating and/or managing U.S. Government contracts

Incentive Fee Contracting knowledge of both Cost Type and Fixed Price arrangements

Development and/or production Contracting Experience

Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) experience

Familiarity with the IWTA system and related policies and procedures

Ability to engage in routine and unique problems / issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts

Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships

Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, performance-based payment plans, etc.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
