Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Aero/Defense Part-Time in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is an armed and driving post, where your presence and communication skills are essential as you respond to situations and coordinate with team members. What You'll Do:
  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch post, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel and law enforcement when incidents and/or emergencies arise, following established protocols for the location.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel to designated areas as needed, documenting all activities accurately and thoroughly.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, prioritizing appropriate actions based on the situation.
  • Provide customer service by following established site-specific policies and procedures, addressing inquiries and/or concerns from employees and visitors.
  • Maintain detailed and clear records of all dispatch communications and incidents for reporting purposes to Allied Universal and client management.
  • Support regular and random patrols by coordinating activities and relaying information between field personnel and management as needed.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including relaying critical information and mobilizing resources as directed.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
